[Musical Dream Note] Visual Novel in development

Hello. I am RYFND.

I am now creating visual novel with musical themed story. The story will revolved around 4 characters: Anne(MC), Chika, Claire, and Lily. They are Music Composition Club and they have their own goal, that is to win a music composition contest at the end of year. This story is very lightweight. But mainly, the story is a slice of life that have some serious and many fun event revolving around them.

Alright for character teaser. This is Anne Notedream.

As you see this image is so low in quality. But this is my best. I am not an artist and I don't have artist working with me currently. Or maybe you already have guessed. If you are not an artist and the image is not done by artist, then who is the one drawing this image? Well, it's an AI generated image. At first, I am really disappointed by what the AI can do, but now I declared that this is the right choice for this game. Why? Well because, the story have a hidden twist. So anyway, please don't be mad if I am using AI to make this novel. Even I at first don't want to.

Alright, so Anne is the only character that I already generated. For the rest,  I will create it later. But, I don't come here empty handed actually. I already work on the story and gameplay. So, I am going to show you what I have implemented. *Note: these images is not end product*.

These are 3 screenshots of the gameplay. Are you wondering about the background assets? I actually found this assets in Minchi. But of course, it's not enough. I am planning to create it myself using Blender later though. The result probably going to be minimalist, but it works!

Alright, if you are still reading this, thank you very much. That's mean you are interested enough for the continuation of this novel. Are you expecting some like DDLC? I am sorry, but... This visual novel is just a typical story driven visual novel, and this visual novel is kinetic. So if you are interested in the story of this 4 students of music composition club, please look forward to it.

It's not typical for me to write something this long. So we will end it here. Also about official release date... At first, I am planning it at 14 february,  but I am definitely going to not make it. So now it's still unknown. But I promise you to develop this visual novel as fast as I can. The hurdle for me now is to create 3D scene just for background... My... I wonder If people really interested in this blog post or maybe no one is going to see this... Also I am planning on release remix of Sweet Dream by Singto Conley.
